In 1947 Wim den Boon designed this chair. He was part of a group called Group &. It is a typical example of the post war design in the Netherlands, as promoted by the Stichting Goed Wonen. This one was produced by the Dutch company De Toekomst (the future) from Dieverbrug until 1955. Made of plywood (seats and back) and a black coloured wooden frame.
